Daisuke Kazaoka

1994年、愛知県生まれ。シンガーソングライター、作曲家。

主にジャマイカ音楽に影響を受け、楽器の演奏、作詞、作曲、編曲、ダブ処理、ミックス〜マスタリングまで自身で行いセルフプロデュースで制作している。

ライブではギターやメロディカなど楽器を演奏し、ダブ処理を行いながら歌唱する「ダブの弾き語り」のようなパフォーマンスを行う。自身で製作したトラックを使いその場でダブミックスを行うビートライブや、弾き語りなど様々なライブ形態で活動している。

また、三重、京都、山形、愛知など日本各地の芸術祭等で舞台作品の音楽も多数手がけ、活動の範囲を広げている。

マシンライブと即興演奏を融合させた3人組音楽ユニット・OVERFALLのメンバーとしても活動中。

Born in Aichi, Japan in 1994, Daisuke Kazaoka is a singer-songwriter and composer primarily influenced by Jamaican music. He is fully self-produced, handling everything himself — from playing instruments to writing lyrics, composing, arranging, dub processing, mixing, and mastering.

In live performances, he plays instruments such as guitar and melodica while singing and applying dub processing in real time — a style he calls "dub singer-songwriter." He performs in a variety of live formats, including beat live sets where he performs live dub mixes using his own produced tracks, as well as solo acoustic performances.

He has also expanded his work by composing music for numerous stage productions at art festivals across Japan, including in Mie, Kyoto, Yamagata, and Aichi.

He is also an active member of OVERFALL, a three-piece music unit that fuses machine live performance with improvisation.
